Paid Subscriptions & Strict No-Refund PolicyAll subscription fees are final and strictly non-refundable. You can cancel your subscription anytime to prevent future billing.
Zero Watermark & User Copyright OwnershipWe do not place our copyright or watermarks on generated videos. All copyright and ownership remain 100% with the user.
No Liability for Copyright InfringementHokku is not responsible for copyright violations. Users are solely liable for all content uploaded, processed, and published.

1. Acceptance of Terms & Service Description

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms of Service") govern access to and use of the Hokku web service ("Service", "Platform", "we", "our"). By creating an account, paying for a subscription, or using any features of Hokku, you fully accept these Terms.
Hokku provides users with automated and intelligent video processing tools: cutting and transforming long videos into short vertical clips (for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other platforms), adding subtitles, framing/cropping, and subsequent publishing to connected social networks.

2. User Accounts & Registration

Using the Service requires registration with an email address. We collect email solely for authentication, access authorization, and account notifications. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and all actions taken under your account.

3. Paid Subscriptions & Strict No-Refund PolicyNo Refund

Access to the full functionality of the Service, unlimited video generation, high resolution, and auto-publishing is provided based on a paid subscription. Plans, billing intervals (monthly or yearly), and available quotas are indicated in the Service interface.
STRICT NO-REFUND POLICY (NO-REFUND RULE):
All subscription purchases and paid services on Hokku are final and NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstances. We do not issue partial or full refunds, do not compensate for unused generation quotas or unused subscription time, and do not provide credits upon plan cancellation.
You can cancel automatic subscription renewal at any time in your profile settings. Upon cancellation, the subscription remains active until the end of the already paid billing period, after which charges cease.

4. Copyright Ownership & Zero Watermarks on Videos100% User Rights

We adhere to the principle of creator freedom and independence:
  • No Hokku Copyright: We do not place our copyright, logo, or watermarks on generated or clipped video clips. All resulting videos are delivered to the user clean.
  • All Rights Belong to the User: All copyright, related rights, and intellectual property rights in original video materials and generated short videos belong exclusively to you (the user) or lawful rights holders.
  • Hokku Claims No Content Ownership: The Service acquires no ownership rights over your uploaded materials and does not use them for third-party commercial purposes.

5. Full Disclaimer of Liability for CopyrightDisclaimer of Liability

The Hokku Service is solely a technical media processing tool. Hokku IS NOT RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE for any infringement of copyright, trademarks, patents, or any other third-party rights:
  • You solely bear full responsibility for verifying the legal validity and licensing of video, music, audio tracks, imagery, and text uploaded to the Service.
  • By uploading video content, you warrant that you are the author of the material or possess valid licenses, permissions, and consents from rights holders for reproduction, adaptation, and distribution.
  • Indemnification: The user agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hokku, its developers, owners, and operators from any claims, lawsuits, damages, penalties, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of third-party copyright or related rights.

6. Social Media Integration & Publishing

The Service provides the technical capability to connect third-party social media accounts (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) for direct publishing of clipped videos.
When publishing content via Hokku, you agree to strictly comply with the Community Guidelines, Terms of Service, and copyright policies of the respective social media networks. Hokku is not responsible for blocks, strikes, shadow bans, or content removals by third-party platforms.

7. Prohibited Use

You may not use Hokku for:
  • Creating, processing, or distributing illegal, defamatory, or harmful content;
  • Infringing upon the intellectual property rights of any person or entity;
  • Distributing malware, viruses, or spam;
  • Attempting to hack, decompile, or disrupt the operation of the Service's infrastructure.

8. Limitation of Liability & Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hokku is not liable for indirect, incidental, or punitive damages, data loss, or lost profits.

9. Amendments to Terms & Feedback

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. The current revision is always available on this page with the update date indicated. Continued use of the Service after changes are made signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.
